Statement from Rick DaCosta
Red Dot Company, Inc.
At Red Dot, we are deeply committed to discovering superior ethical and moral models for cross-border digital collaboration. In a world where social and economic disparity too often drives exploitation, we aim for a different standard. We make no assumptions about the superiority of any background—social, cultural, or economic—but we are keenly aware of how uneven systems often reward a lucky few while marginalizing the rest.
This is especially true in the freelance or gig economy. Exceptional talent in economically developing regions frequently remains under-compensated, not for lack of skill, but because of systemic inequities. At Red Dot, we work with people whose values, vision, and talent align with ours. We offer them not just a wage but an invitation to join in lasting value creation.
When launching a project, we begin with a fair hourly rate, anticipated hours of each type IT human resource that is required, all clearly set out in contract. But we also make a standing offer: our selected IT contributors may convert all or part of that agreement into equity in the very project they helped bring to life. They are given the time and space to see whether the project’s commercial potential aligns with their goals.
This is exactly how we have structured Suparvar Partners. Working with Arpit Singh and the freelancers of Quantackle has been both inspiring and productive. Arpit’s ideas often expand and surpass our own. His team’s technical proficiency in AI, SEO, and digital production has enabled us to execute ideas that had long remained theoretical.
Importantly, we keep early revenue generation in focus. Our joint ventures begin with affiliate marketing sites—a space where measurable returns are possible in the short term, even as we build toward more ambitious, long-term platforms.
